Total Associate Engagement is a Zurn Core Value that ensures we succeed together. Each year, we survey our employees to better understand what matters most to them. With ongoing dedication to associate wellbeing, we’re proud to say our Total Associate Engagement scores have increased consistently over the last several years.

The survey empowers us to strategically involve associates in the success of the company and each other by bringing engagement actions to the local level. Each year, local managers use the results of the survey to work with teams to build action plans with tips and practices proven to increase engagement.

Associate Development

At Zurn, we believe the development of every associate is crucial to our business growth and the retention of top talent. We have several programs in place, including Leadership Development Programs, to ensure our associates have the tools and resources needed to foster a culture of self-development.

With COVID-19 shifting the world’s approach to work, we offered our associates resources from Skillsoft, an e-learning skills provider, to help navigate the challenges of working from home, embracing change and guiding team members. In 2020, more than 500 associates utilized Skillsoft resources, demonstrating resilience and dedication to the work we do.   

From a robust internship program to a global, cross-functional manager development curriculum, we strive to make sure associates have room to grow at every step in their career, including in the classroom. We initiated more than $200,000 in tuition reimbursement to more than 40 associates throughout the years.
